Clothing importers from the USA and EU have shifted their orders to India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and other countries of South-East Asia. The strategic shift is clearly seen during clothing expositions, where number of participants from US and EU has gone down. The clothing export value of India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka instead is rapidly growing, these countries enjoy unlimited quotas. This development has caused effect on big as well as small clothing enterprises in Zhejiang province, which have lost their share.
