The Third China Outdoor Golden Rhino Awards, co-organized by ispo china, Outdoor exploration magazine and renowned outdoor brand OZARK, was successfully held on 24th February, 2008 in Beijing during ispo china 08.
Initiated by the “Outdoor Exploration”, the annual awards was set up to evaluating the development and trend of the outdoor sports in the previous year and introducing the most influential and pioneering events and personalities in the light of its influence, advance and value.
After three-month proceeding evaluation, the specific awards had been announced and the ceremony was grandly held during ispo china 08 winter show.
Working in joint hands, ispo china and “Outdoor Exploration” will continue to push forward the development of the “Outdoor Golden Rhino Awards”.

§         Breakthrough of The Year: Tibet Mountaineering Team
§         Outdoor Honor: 1kg Organization
§         Best Publication: Lonely Planet By Sanlian Bookstore
§         Best Film: Street Bouldering in 798 by Li Jia
§         Best Photographs: Ice Climbing on Everest By Deng Lin by Deng Lin
§         Best Gear Design: Pedal Scooter
